Canine Fitness Connection - Terms & Conditions
1. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales and services provided by Canine Fitness Connection, to the exclusion of any other terms unless agreed in writing.

Canine Fitness Connection reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time with immediate effect.

These Terms & Conditions override any previous agreements, discussions, or client expectations unless confirmed in writing.

By booking or accessing any service, programme, or content (including online courses, classes, and digital materials), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Each clause of this Agreement operates independently. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining clauses remain enforceable.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

This contract is governed by the laws of England, and both parties submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
2. Training & Handling Methods
Canine Fitness Connection uses science‑based, positive reinforcement training and conditioning methods.
The following are not permitted in any session (in person or online):

Harsh handling or physical punishment
-
Aversive equipment including choke chains, check chains, prong collars, spray collars, e‑collars, or any device deemed inappropriate by the trainer
-
Intimidation, fear‑based techniques, or corrections
If such methods or equipment are used, services may be terminated immediately without refund.
3. Payment, Refunds & Cancellations
Training & Fitness Sessions (In Person or Online)

Payment is required at the time of booking. Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session will receive a full refund.
-
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non‑refundable.
-
Rearranged sessions with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee, at the discretion of Canine Fitness Connection.

If Canine Fitness Connection must cancel due to illness, emergency, or adverse weather, a new mutually convenient time will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
Pet Sitting & Dog Walking
Drop‑in services (up to 1 hour): 24 hours’ notice required for cancellation.

Pet sitting (over 1 hour): 48 hours’ notice required.
-
Less notice will incur the full session fee.
-
A 20% non‑refundable deposit is required for pet sitting bookings.
4. Online Services, Classes & Digital Content
This section covers online training, fitness classes, webinars, consultations, and digital programmes.

You are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for yourself and your dog during online sessions.
-
Canine Fitness Connection is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsuitable flooring, unsafe surroundings, or equipment used incorrectly.
-
You must ensure your dog is physically capable of participating. If unsure, consult your veterinary professional.
-
All digital content (videos, PDFs, class recordings, exercise demonstrations, etc.) is for personal use only and must not be shared, copied, or distributed.
-
Recording of online sessions is not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing.
5. Safety

All accidents or injuries must be reported immediately.
-
Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and safety at all times.
-
Flexi (extendable) leads are not permitted in sessions.
-
For home visits, dogs must be safely secured in another room when the trainer arrives.
-
Owners must ensure they have appropriate insurance to cover damage or injury caused by their dog.
-
Canine Fitness Connection reserves the right to refuse service if a dog is deemed unsafe.
6. Children
-
Children are welcome with appropriate adult supervision.
-
Canine Fitness Connection accepts no responsibility for children at sessions.
-
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Health, Vaccination & Fitness Suitability

Dogs must be appropriately protected against disease and parasites. Consult your veterinary professional for guidance.

Canine Fitness Connection accepts no responsibility for exposure to disease.
-
If your dog is unwell (vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, lethargy, contagious illness), the session must be cancelled or rearranged.
-
You must inform the trainer of any allergies, medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations.
-
For fitness sessions, you confirm your dog is fit to participate. If unsure, seek veterinary advice.

If your dog has been in contact with a contagious disease, you must inform us before the session.
8. Advice & Training Plans

All advice is based on the information provided by the owner and the trainer’s professional assessment.
-
Training and conditioning plans require consistency and time; no guarantee of outcome can be made.
-
Each dog is an individual, and results vary.
-
Programmes are tailored to the specific dog and must not be applied to other animals.
-
Owners are encouraged to consult their veterinary surgeon if concerned about any aspect of the plan.
9. Marketing, Photography & Privacy

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions for marketing purposes.
-
If you do not wish to be included, please inform us in advance.
-
Client feedback may be used for marketing unless you request otherwise.
-
Recording or photographing sessions (in person or online) is not permitted without written permission.
-
All personal information is kept confidential and not shared with third parties.
10. Disclaimer
By booking any service, you acknowledge:

Working with dogs carries inherent risks.
-
You assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that occur during sessions.
-
You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times, whether or not the trainer is present.
-
Canine Fitness Connection is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in training or fitness activities.
-
Canine Fitness Connection reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
11. Weather

In adverse weather, outdoor sessions may be moved online (e.g., Zoom) or rescheduled.
12. Fitness Sessions (In Person or Online)
By booking a fitness session, online coaching, or any conditioning‑related service with Canine Fitness Connection, you agree to the following:
General Safety & Risk

Whilst every care is taken in the provision of fitness sessions and online coaching, all dogs participate entirely at their owner’s risk.
-
Canine Fitness Connection cannot be held responsible for any injury to you, your dog, or any other participant during fitness sessions (in person or online).
-
Canine Fitness Connection cannot be held responsible for any damage to your fitness equipment, substitute equipment, your home, or the area in which you run your fitness session(s).
Veterinary Clearance & Suitability

We reserve the right to refuse fitness sessions or coaching if your dog requires veterinary assessment, treatment, or rehabilitation with a veterinary specialist before beginning fitness work.

In such cases, a £20 assessment fee will be charged. This fee will be deducted from your next appointment if you proceed with a booking.

You agree that if your dog has had a previous injury, surgery, or medical condition, they have either:
-
completed a full rehabilitation programme with a veterinary professional, or
-
been formally signed off as fit for exercise by your vet.

We reserve the right to refuse fitness sessions, coaching, or any other service at any time if we believe it is unsafe or inappropriate for your dog.
Owner Responsibilities

You agree that fitness plans provided are tailored specifically to the dog attending the session and must not be used for any other dog.

You agree to follow the fitness plan precisely as given to you to ensure safety and effectiveness.

You are responsible for ensuring a safe training environment, including:
-
non‑slip flooring
-
stable equipment
-
adequate space
-
safe surroundings for both you and your dog

Video Submissions (Online Coaching)
-
For online coaching, you must submit your videos for assessment at least 24 hours before your appointment.
-
If videos are not submitted in time, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and may be charged at full price.
Cancellations
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
-
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session fee.
13. Payment Methods

Payment is accepted via bank transfer, online payment link, or cash (where applicable).
-
Payment must be made at least 24 hours before the session.
-
For pet sitting, a 20% non‑refundable deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 48 hours before the booking.
14. Agreement
By booking any service with Canine Fitness Connection, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
