Hello

Hi, I’m Hannah — and I’m here to make canine fitness and dog training clear, kind, and accessible

I founded Canine Fitness Connection with one mission: to help dogs move better, feel stronger, and live happier, healthier lives through prevention‑focused education. My work blends canine conditioning, movement analysis, behaviour understanding, and owner‑friendly teaching to give every dog the best chance at long‑term wellbeing.

My Journey

I began working with dogs in 2012 and quickly discovered how deeply physical health and behaviour are connected. Over the years I trained in hydrotherapy, gait analysis, canine conditioning, and dog training, developing a holistic approach that looks at the whole dog — not just the symptoms. I started in hydrotherapy, but after 5 years of working in centre and working up to senior hydrotherapist and center manager, a turning point came when I developed a skin condition that meant I could no longer work in chlorinated water.

Stepping away from hydrotherapy pushed me towards what I loved most: prevention, education, and empowering owners. That shift shaped everything I do today.

My own dog, Luna, has been one of my greatest teachers. Supporting her through hip dysplasia, arthritis, allergies, reactivity, and ongoing skin and stomach issues taught me the importance of clarity, compassion, and truly understanding the dog in front of you. Her journey is the heart of why I’m so committed to helping owners feel confident, supported, and capable.

What I do now

Today, I specialise in:

  • Canine conditioning

  • Owner‑friendly instruction

  • Training sessions

  • Prevention‑focused guidance for long‑term health

  • Accessible online learning through The Canine Fitness Club and Training Academy

Everything I create — from exercise demos to theory lessons to complete guided courses — is designed to be clear, supportive, and easy for owners to follow. My goal is to remove overwhelm and replace it with confidence.

My values

  • Prevention first — keeping dogs strong, stable, and injury‑resistant

  • Kindness and clarity — no jargon, no judgement, just support

  • Science‑based education — grounded in anatomy, movement, and behaviour

  • Owner empowerment — giving you the tools to help your dog thrive

  • Holistic understanding — because behaviour and physical health are inseparable
